Manos de Cristo is excited to hold the Back-to-School Program and provide children with new backpacks and clothing. We need volunteers who can help set up and distribute items to children.
SET UP DAY: Friday, July 19, 2024; 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Volunteers must be comfortable with some heavy lifting for this day.
DISTRIBUTION DAYS: July 22 - 26, 2024; 7:45 AM - 1:00 PM
WHERE: Midtown Church Austin, 4425 Red River St, Austin, TX 78751 NEW LOCATION!
- Volunteers should be comfortable being on their feet for most of the time.
- We will provide snacks and a water station, however, feel free to bring your own snacks if you think you will get hungry before the shift ends.
- Volunteers 16 and older are preferred. If a child under 16 wishes to volunteer, their guardian must accompany them and we prefer a ratio of 1:2 adult per child. This helps ensure the event runs smoothly and timely.
