*Plazas Comunitarias classes are currently suspended. Self-study is still available. Call us for more information.

Registration fee: Free

Non-English speaking adults without a firm foundation in formal schooling and literacy from their countries of origin face challenges when trying to learn English as a Second Language because many lessons are print-based and assume a level of general knowledge. Since 2010, Manos has offered the opportunity for native Spanish speakers to complete their basic education in Spanish with materials from the Mexican National Institute of Adult Education. Upon completion, students will receive a diploma of primary or secondary school from the Ministry of Public Education in Mexico. Morning (9:30 am - 11:30 am) and evening (7:00 pm - 9:00 pm) classes are available. Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year.
